What is it?

Honey from whatever bloomed near the hive. The word 'wildflower' isn't vague — it's a promise that the jar tastes like a specific neighborhood in a specific month.

Where does it come from?

Everywhere. That's the point. A Vermont wildflower and a Puerto Rico wildflower are two different honeys.

Fire Honey

Dried chilies and garlic steeped slowly in raw honey. Two weeks of patience, then it goes on everything: pizza, fried chicken, roasted carrots, sharp cheese.

Thin coins of fresh ginger left in honey until it turns sharp and warming. A spoonful in hot water is the whole recipe for a cold evening.
